Lead Teacher
Ms. Karen

Karen was born and raised in Arkansas. She has been involved with children since 1984. She ran a daycare in her home for 10 years, coached youth travel softball, JFL cheer leading, and is a proud life member of the Girl Scouts. Karen has a love for children that goes on forever!!! On the weekends you might find her at a local pumpkin patch, youth sports event or any place there are children having fun. She has 4 lovely Grandchildren that she spends a lot of time with and 2 grown daughters (and Son-in-Laws too)! They are all busy with cheer leading, soccer, horseback riding lessons, and whatever sport is in season!!! Karen loves the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Steelers, Blackhawks, and her favorite of all DIRT TRACK RACES!!! 

Karen joined the Little Jewels team as an assistant teacher in November of 2008, became a lead teacher and now the Director of Treasures at Corpus Christi. Her motto... I call my students "my kids" because in our time together they aren't just kids in my class list, they become a part of my Heart!!!

Ms. Ashleigh

Ashleigh was born and raised in Normal and lives in Colfax. She graduated from NCHS and ISU. She has been married to Glen for 22 years. She has 3 sons- Reilly, a Jr. at SIUC, and Mitch and Tate who attend Ridgeview High School. Ashleigh loves sports, animals, and reading. In her free time, she can be found at a football game.

Hi There! My name is Nora and I am working in the infant rooms. I was born and raised right here in Bloomington/Normal. I attended Normal Community High School. I have such a passion for children and always knew that I wanted to work with children. I am excited to get to know you and your children.

Corrin is currently a student at Heartland Community College and is majoring in Early Childhood Education. She loves spending time with kids but in her free time loves being outdoors with her family.

Ms. Ashley


Ashley is currently a student at Illinois State University, and is studying deaf and hard of hearing special education. Her goal is to introduce children to learning in a way that is fun and safe. Ashley believes in a growth mind set, and all children are capable of learning. She has worked in many classrooms and is excited to continue!
