My name is Grace. I have lived in Bloomington-Normal my whole life. I graduated from ISU in December 2018 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. In my free time I like to go to the movies and travel. I look forward to gettting to know all of the families and kids at Little Jewels.

Hi I'm Megan and I'm a Senior at Normal Community High School. This will be my first year working at Little Jewels and I'm very excited for this opportunity at Little Jewels and have a strong love for children of all ages! In my soare time I enjoy volunteering, making others happy and babysitting!

I have always enjoyed being around kids. I have 9 nieces and nephews. I am currently attending Heartland Community College. My favorite things to do are golf and spending time with family. I absolutely love working at Little Jewels and look forward to coming in every day!

My name is Dawn Leman. I graduated from Bradley University with an education degree and moved to Bloomington/Normal in 1994. I've been married 24 years to my husband Darin. We have four children: David-23, Drew-21, Rachel-19, and Becca-17. I was a stay-at-home mom to them for 13 years before I started substitute teaching for Unit 5 schools in 2006. I divide my time between Unit 5 and Little Jewels trying to make sure those classrooms are full of happy and healthy children that are ready to learn!

My name is Loreta. I am currently studying at Heartland Community College and plan to continue at ISU after. I come from a large family with 5 other siblings and I love working with kids, dancing, played basketball in high school and enjoy cooking in my free time.

Mr. Roy

 

Roy was born in Bloomington at St. Joe Hospital. He is a graduate from Bloomington High School and enjoyed working at Steven's Bakery and Merle Pharmacy while in high school. After high school he attended keyboarding school and some prgramming and accounting classes at ISU. He then oved on to work for Carbery & O'Roake for 13 years after graduating as their computer operator. In 1963 he married Sue and they have been married for 34 years. They have five children: Jan, Angie, Beth, Stephanie and Steven. Together they also have eight grandchildren. Roy worked for Calvary Baptist Church in Normal for 36 years befire he retired. He is loving his current adventure as a bus driver for Little Jewels!
