My name is Kaycee and I am a junior at Illinois State University studying early childhood education with a letter of approval in special education. I love working with children and helping others! Education is something I have been extremely passionate about since a young age. I look forward to teaching and growing a positive relationship with my students! 
I studied abroad in Milan, Italy at The American School of Milan for five weeks. This experience helped me grow as a teacher tremendously! 
An interesting fact about me is that I am ambidextrous. I have 3 sisters and I love animals! I have 5 dogs. One of my favorite hobbies is running.

My name is Emily. I'm 24 years of age, and I have lived around the Bloomington/ Normal area my whole life. I was raised on a farm where we planted and harvested corn and sybeans. During my younger years I enjoyed playing sports and being a dnacer. I was a dancer for 14 years and a power tumbler for 9 years, on which I qualofoed to National championships all 9 years. Along with that I was also a cheerleader and soccer player during my middle school and hisgh school years. I am a 2019 Heartland graduate. In September of 2017 I became an aunt to my adorable nephew. I have also taugt and coached gymnastics for the last 6 years.

I have earned my Assosciates Degree from Rend Lake College in Early Childhood Education and I am continuing towards my Bachelors Degree. Since I was little I have enjoyed working with kids. I have younger twin brothers. My family and I attend church and my first experience caring for children was in the church nursery. I've helped my dad coach Upwards sports and babysat throughout high school. While earning my Assosciates I had the opportunity to work at the Rend Lake Children's center and Hamilton County Preschool.
